Hotel Condesa DF

The Hotel Condesa DF is housed in a French Neo-classical building, but has modern, India Mahdavi–curated interiors.

Av. Veracruz 102, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc, 06700 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

If you’re foregoing staying in Polanco or at the Four Seasons, then we recommend you stay in the heart of trendy Condesa. And if you’re opting for a trendy area, why not choose a cutting-edge boutique hotel? Enter Condesa DF, which opened in 2005, before the city’s recent tourism boom. It’s housed in a French Neo-classical building, but is characterized by its modern, India Mahdavi–curated interiors. There’s a car art installation by Betsabée Romero parked outside, a rooftop sushi restaurant (though we’d recommend having sushi elsewhere, a Mexican restaurant downstairs, and 24-hour room service. —Elena Clavarino
