River Cafe

It doesn’t matter when you go—Tuesday lunch, Saturday dinner…the dining room is heaven, the food, sublime. The River Café has been this alluring and consistent since Ruthie Rogers and Rose Gray opened its doors on the banks of the Thames in 1987. Today, it remains a crucible for young culinary talent, as well as a stomping ground for all manner of luminaries. And now, Rogers’s weekly podcast, Ruthie’s Table 4, disseminates its magic all over the world. —Ashley Baker
