The designer Luisa Beccaria has little tolerance for anything garish, whether it’s fast food or in-your-face fashion. Beccaria, a native of Milan who arrived on the fashion scene in the 80s, has been presiding over a collection of ready-to-wear ever since. Romantic dresses are top of mind—always tasteful, elegant, and turned out in pastels and florals. Now she is lending her touch to the table with a collection of glasses, plates, table linens, and even espresso service. When she’s out of the office, Beccaria immerses herself in Sicily with her husband, Don Lucio Bonaccorsi dei Principi Reburdone, and their children, Lucilla, Lucrezia, Ludovico, Luna, and Luchino. Along the way, she has discovered the key components of a beautifully curated life. —Elena Clavarino
